Secret Recipe 48Hr Film Jam
California Lutheran University offered this competition called the 48hr Film Jam. The premise is that the students have 48 hours to make a short animation. The theme is randomized. Students begin shortly after learning the theme. Also have to come up with a script or storyboard to get an idea of where it is going. Had to include a character named Jordan Cipher who is a criminal or designated bad guy. Was in charge of designing Jordan Cipher, the parrot, miscellaneous objects and or home decor and exterior foliage. Each character has their own movements in the animation such as the parrot wings flapping or Jordan Cipher's body movements. Enjoyed making the mouth and beak for this because it was interesting interpreting what the shapes would be to accommodate for the sound or words. Really loved doing these projects because we get to see them come to life especially when we saw it on the big screen at the movie theater.
